Frieze on Instagram: "‘That’s what makes Seoul so fascinating,’ says Korean artist Omyo Cho (@omyocho), ‘the fact that so much has emerged from almost nothing.’ Cho shows us a ‘slower side to Seoul’, including the the city’s old jewellery district, the hidden green haven of Baeksasil Valley, the rooftop of the @seoulmuseumofart archives and a Buddhist temple at the foot of Samgaksan Mountain. Jeong works primarily with moving images to explore war, nationhood, visual apparatus, and the relationship between the representation of place and memory.
